Spider Solitaire

Cards · Two decks, ten columns, 1, 2 or 4 suits.

Free Spider Solitaire with 1, 2 or 4 suits. Two decks, ten columns and a satisfying click every time a full run leaves the table.

How to play

  1. Clear the table by building eight complete runs from King down to Ace in a single suit.
  2. You can place any card on a card one rank higher, whatever the suit. But only runs of the same suit move together.
  3. When a full King-to-Ace run of one suit is complete, it leaves the table automatically.
  4. Tap the deck to deal one new card onto every column. You can't deal while a column is empty.
  5. Easy uses 1 suit, Medium 2 suits and Hard all 4 suits. The Daily uses 2 suits.

Tips to win

  • Build in the same suit whenever you can; mixed-suit runs can't be moved as a group.
  • Empty columns are gold. Use them to untangle runs rather than filling them straight away.
  • Turn over face-down cards before dealing a new row, since every deal buries the columns.
  • On 2 and 4 suits, Undo is your friend: try a line, and step back if it goes nowhere.

Questions

How many suits should I play?

Start with 1 suit (Easy) to learn the game, move to 2 suits (Medium), and try 4 suits (Hard) when you want a real challenge.

Why can't I deal new cards?

Every column needs at least one card before you deal a new row. Move a card into the empty column first.

Is Spider Solitaire free?

Yes, it's free to play in your browser on any device, with no download.
