How to play
- You and Hop each hide five boats on a 10×10 lake: lengths 5, 4, 3, 3 and 2. Boats never touch each other.
- Shuffle your boats until you like the layout, then press Start battle.
- Tap a square on Hop's lake to fire. An orange marker means a hit, a white ring means a miss.
- A hit (or sinking a boat) gives you another shot. After a miss, it's Hop's turn to fire at your lake.
- Sink all of Hop's boats before he sinks yours to win. Easy, Medium and Hard set how cleverly Hop aims.
Tips to win
- Start with a checkerboard pattern: every boat is at least two squares long, so you only need to hit every other square to find them.
- After a hit, fire at the four squares around it, then follow the line once you find a second hit.
- Boats never touch, so the squares all around a sunk boat are empty. Don't waste shots there.
- Late in the game, think about where the biggest boat still afloat could fit and aim there.

How smart is Hop?
On Easy Hop shoots at random but finishes off boats he hits. On Medium he hunts in a pattern. On Hard he works out where your boats are most likely to be.
Is this the same as Battleship?
It's the classic naval guessing game that many people know by that name, played on a friendly lake with toy boats.
