Date Night Questions

Play Date Night Questions free online with your partner: read a card aloud, answer it together and let the conversation wander. It works on one phone at the kitchen table, or together online with a link when you are apart. No download or account needed, on phone or computer. Some cards are tiny two-minute activities, like giving each other a real compliment. 100 cards in four packs: Fun & Playful, Cosy Night In, Out & About and Sweet Nothings.

How to play

  1. Choose a pack (or Mix) and how many cards, 10 or 20, then press Start. On one phone you pass it back and forth; online each of you uses your own phone.
  2. One of you reads the card out loud. Both of you answer in your own words, and there is no right answer.
  3. Some cards are mini activities, like planning a weekend in 60 seconds. Set a timer on your phone and give it a go.
  4. Tap Next card when you have finished talking. There is no score and no winner, just the conversation.
  5. At the end, pick your favourite card and make it a plan for your next date.

Tips for a great game

  • Ask a follow-up before you move on: why, when, what did that feel like?
  • Start with Fun & Playful if you are new or nervous, and save Sweet Nothings for later in the evening.
  • Put phones on Do Not Disturb, light a candle and make it feel like a real date night.
  • Skip any card you don't feel like answering. A different card is always one tap away.

What are good questions to ask on a date night?

The best ones invite a story, not a yes or no: favourite memories, small joys, dream trips, how you like to spend a lazy Sunday. This deck has 100 of them, from silly to romantic.

Can we play Date Night Questions online as a couple?

Yes. Choose Online, then Play a friend, and send your partner the link. You each use your own phone, so it works for long-distance couples and video-call dates too.

Is it suitable for a first date or a long-term relationship?

Both. Nothing assumes how long you have been together, and you can choose the lighter packs for a new relationship or the Sweet Nothings pack for a long one.

How many questions are there?

There are 100 cards in four packs of 25: Fun & Playful, Cosy Night In, Out & About and Sweet Nothings. A game uses 10 or 20 of them, in a mixed order each time.
