Embed our games
Every game made by GameLake can be embedded on your website, blog or school page, free. Pick a game below, choose a size, theme and accent colour, and copy the code. It's a normal iframe, so it works with WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Ghost, Notion sites and plain HTML.
The game runs on our servers and updates by itself. It plays on phones and computers, saves progress in the player's browser, and shows a small GameLake bar with a link back to the full game.
The rules
- Keep the frame and the GameLake bar as they are: don't crop, cover, overlay or hide them.
- Don't present the game as your own or remove the credit link under it.
- Don't put the games on sites with illegal, adult, hateful or gambling content.
- We may stop an embed that breaks these rules, and we may change or retire games over time.

Contribute a game
Made a browser game you're proud of? We'd love to see it. If it's a good fit, we publish it on GameLake in six languages with your name on it.
What we accept
- HTML5 games that run in the browser, with no plugin or download.
- Playable with touch and with a mouse, on a phone and on a computer.
- Works after it has loaded, without needing a constant connection.
- No external ads, trackers, analytics or in-app purchases.
- Family-friendly: no violence, gambling or adult content.
- Original work, or assets you have the right to use (please list licences).
What you get
- Credit and a link: your name (or studio) and a link to your site on the game's page and in our credits.
- Players: your game in front of GameLake players in six languages, on phone and desktop.
- We don't pay for games and we don't charge you anything.
The licence, in plain words
- You keep the copyright. You can keep selling or publishing your game anywhere else.
- You give GameLake a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host the game, adapt it to fit the site (controls, layout, Hop, saving), translate it, and show it with GameLake branding, including in embeds on other sites.
- You confirm that you made the game or have the rights to everything in it, and that it doesn't break anyone else's rights.
How review works
We play every submission. If it's a fit, we reply by email within about two weeks to talk details. If you don't hear from us, it isn't a fit this time.
We don't run your code as it is. Accepted games are reviewed and rebuilt into our own game frame by us. Outside code never runs on gamelake.com without that review: it keeps players safe, and it's a firm rule.
