How to play

  1. Choose a pack (or Mix) and how many cards, 10 or 20, then press Start. On one phone you pass it back and forth; online each of you sees the same card on your own screen.
  2. Take turns reading the card out loud. Both of you answer, as much or as little as you like.
  3. Ask a follow-up before moving on. The question is just the start of the conversation.
  4. Skip any card you don't fancy. Nothing is scored and there is no right answer.
  5. When the cards run out, start another pack or keep going with Getting closer to end the evening on something sweet.

Tips for a great game

  • Start with Easy icebreakers and move up. Save What matters and Getting closer for when you're both relaxed.
  • Ask why. The best moments come from the follow-up, not the card itself.
  • Answer honestly but at your own pace. Skipping a card is always fine.
  • Not a first date? Use it on a walk, a long drive or a quiet evening to hear things you never asked.
