How to play
- Drag back from anywhere on the course, like pulling a slingshot. The arrow shows the direction and the power: the further you pull, the harder the putt. Let go to putt.
- Get the ball in the cup in as few strokes as you can. Each hole has a par, the number of strokes a good player needs.
- Water costs a stroke: the ball comes back to where you putted from, and one penalty stroke is added. Sand stops the ball fast, slopes push it downhill, and bumpers kick it away.
- Time your putts past the moving logs and the windmill's sails. They knock the ball back if it hits them.
- Play all nine holes. Your scorecard shows every hole against par. On Easy a dotted line shows where the ball will start rolling; on Medium and Hard you judge it yourself.
Tips to win
- Use the walls. The ball bounces off a wall at the same angle it hits it, so you can bank it around corners and obstacles.
- Lag it close instead of blasting it. A ball rolling slowly drops into the cup; a fast one hops right over.
- With water nearby, play safe to the middle of the pad. A two-putt beats a splash and a penalty.
- Watch a log or the windmill go round once before you putt, then go just after it passes.
- Uphill putts need more power than you think; downhill ones much less.
- Stuck? Press Teach me: Hop draws a good line and power and tells you why it works. Tap Putt to play it: on holes with logs or windmills Hop waits for the right moment. A coached round is practice and stays off the leaderboard.

Questions
How do you play mini golf?
Putt the ball from the tee into the cup in as few strokes as possible. Each hole has a par, the score a good player is expected to make. After nine holes, the lowest total wins.
What does par mean in mini golf?
Par is the number of strokes a good player should need for a hole, usually 2 or 3 in mini golf. One under par is a birdie, two under is an eagle, one over is a bogey. Getting it in with your first putt is a hole in one.
What happens if the ball goes in the water?
You take a one-stroke penalty and play again from the spot where you putted. So a splash costs two strokes in total: the putt and the penalty.
How do you get a hole in one?
Pick holes where the line to the cup is open or where one wall bounce leads straight to it, and hit softly enough that the ball would stop just past the cup. Fast balls skip over the hole.
Can I play mini golf with friends?
Yes. Choose 2–4 players to pass one phone or computer around: each player putts out the hole in turn and the scorecard keeps everyone's strokes. Or choose Race to play the same nine holes as someone online at the same time.
Is there a daily mini golf course?
Yes. The Daily is a new nine-hole course every day, the same for every player, with three easy, three medium and three hard holes.
Is this mini golf game free?
Yes. Play free in your browser on phone, tablet or computer, with no download and no account.
