How to play
- Remove two uncovered cards that add up to 13. An Ace counts 1, a Jack 11 and a Queen 12, so the pairs are A+Q, 2+J, 3+10, 4+9, 5+8 and 6+7. A King is 13 alone: tap it and it's gone.
- A pyramid card is uncovered when no card lies on top of it. Covered cards are dimmed, so you can see at a glance what can play.
- Tap a card, then its partner, or drag one card onto the other. On Easy the partners of the card you picked light up.
- Tap the deck to turn a card onto the pile next to it. The top card of the pile plays too: pair it with a pyramid card, or with nothing if it's a King.
- When the deck runs out, tap the empty deck to turn the pile over and go through it again: as often as you like on Easy, twice on Medium and the Daily, once on Hard. The badge on the deck shows how many turns are left.
- Clear all 28 pyramid cards to win. Cards left in the deck don't matter.
Tips to win
- Pair cards inside the pyramid first. Pile cards come back on the next pass through the deck; pyramid cards only leave when you pair them.
- Work from the bottom rows up: each low card covers two above it, so clearing the bottom opens the most cards.
- Before taking a pair, look at what it uncovers. If two pairs are possible, take the one that frees more cards or the cards you need.
- Watch out for two cards of the same pair blocking each other, like a 4 lying on its only 9. You'll need the other 4s and 9s for them, so don't spend those elsewhere.
- On Medium and Hard, use a pile card when it fits: once you're out of turns it won't come back.
- Stuck? Press Teach me: Hops asks the solver for a move that keeps the deal winnable, highlights it and says why in one line. If no winning line is left, he tells you to undo a few moves.
- Switch on the Classic look for green felt and white cards, with the bouncing-cards finish when you clear the pyramid.
