Here are 30 Christmas word scramble puzzles in three levels: 10 easy (3 to 6 letters), 10 medium and 10 hard, each with a clue. The answers are at the bottom of the page, so you can check your work. How it works
Unscramble the letters to find 30 Christmas words, from ELF and STAR to GINGERBREAD and NUTCRACKER. Each puzzle is one word with its letters mixed up. Read the clue, rearrange the letters, and write the word down. Two-word and three-word answers are written as one long word, like NORTHPOLE.

Tips for solving
- Read the clue first and say a few Christmas words that fit it. Then check which one uses exactly these letters.
- Find the first letter. Once it's in place, the rest of the word often falls out.
- Spot common pieces. Christmas words often end in -ING, -ER or -S, and many share pairs like EE, LL and TH.
- Write the letters in a circle. Seeing them in a new order makes the word jump out; in the online game, the Shuffle button does the same.
